Let's start at the beginning! Have you READ these???
For new subscribers and lovers of Dark Fantasy
NEW CHAPTER RELEASED
EVERY Sun/Sat - depending where you live!
G’day!
I thought I’d send out a quick message to everyone and especially to my new subscribers - Welcome Newbies! And for those who are just checking the page out and wondering… What the hell!
How does it work?
My newsletter has five sections, and each week a story or chapter is released from one of those sections. My newsletter is under constant review - because… I’m learning as I go along!
How to describe…. hmmm, imagine you’re playing DND with Terry Pratchett as your Dungeon Master, and you won’t be far off the mark.
In the burnt-to-a-cinder city Bone Valley, Torren, a dragon dung cartman, is our reluctant hero who’s smarter than he looks but… smells like the product he collects. His followers include a witch who’s coming to terms with her… dirty little secret and inability to do ‘magic’. A vegan vampire chef with a blood phobia, a knight who is a pillock, and an acrophobic werewolf who can’t do open spaces unless dressed as a unicorn. They take on the tyrannical blood-lusting ruler of Bone Valley - Mother Heggerty, who has… mummy issues!
The second novel of Bone Valley introduces Lord Der Arzte—a man with a painfully hidden past and a whole lotta money! He joins forces with Lieutenant Ehrlich—a woman police officer who wears pants (how scandalous!)—to hunt down a beheading psycho who’s driving their rebuilding city and the Council of Five to the very edge of destruction. It doesn’t help that he has to be nice to the mummified head of Dr Frankfurter, who's making moves on…. everyone in his household, including Lord Der Arzte’s Mother! And now, his Lordship has to cope with the Grand Poohbah of the Brotherhood of the Wigged Elk and his disastrous band of henchpeople.
Solving crimes is not what it used to be!
The title basically says it all!
I have stories performed by the ‘Wilhem Presents Frightening Tales’ podcast. Three new stories will be released during Season Four of this year. In Season Three, you can check out Darcey Girl, Philly, and Midnight’s Curtains. Or read them here, including Dirty Little Bird, which has been a top story on Vocal and an Honorable mention in Macarb Mondays Music-inspired writing competition.
I try to write Horror, which is unexpected or has a balanced juxtaposition. The question I often focus on is… who’s the real monster?
My second novel. (The first one is buried in the backyard under a big rock and will never see the light of day!)
Because nothing is more interesting than the real world itself, especially when we step back and turn reality on its head to see what falls out of its pockets.
‘The Golden Queen’ is the first fantasy novel in a set of three.
Located in a small fishing village on the south coast of Western Australia, monsters, fairies, mermaids and spirits mingle within a real-life setting. Who will win the ultimate battle? The King of the Salugh Sidhe or the newly minted Mermaid Queen? Who knows, but no one will give up without a fight!
And here is where everything else lies.
I like to write a lot about a whole lot of different things. And this is where it all goes.
From Snow White, who pushes her prince off the side of the castle, to stories about my Star Wars Fanboy and everything else in between.
